Character Over Talent: Leadership Lessons from Titus

A leader’s private life eventually becomes public fruit.

In Titus, Paul gives us the qualifications to look for in a leader.

Strangely, none of them have to do with talent. They have more to do with actual character.

Paul doesn’t say: great speaker, charismatic, popular.
He says things like: self-controlled, faithful, not arrogant, not quick-tempered, loves what is good.

You don’t need to be the smartest in the room. You don’t even need to be the most talented in the room.
What matter is who you already are and what kind of character you have!
